So many times when we are scheduling engagement sessions with our couples, we often have to give a little direction as to locations for the session. Cara and Matt had no problem with this! They had their first date in the North End, at Caffe Vittoria and afterward continued walking around the neighborhood and waterfront and they knew they wanted to recreate that day in their engagement session. Great idea! Cara and Matt originally met online, with Match.com and it was love at first sight! When he proposed she had no idea...."A few days before Christmas. He took me to a nice dinner and when we got home we were going to exchange gifts and he handed me the first gift and I opened it and it was a framed picture of us and a homemade card. He got down on one knee (which I didn't realize is what he was doing until he pulled out the ring) and proposed!" Love it!!!!
They were so at ease and it was so cute watching the love between them while we were shooting. They are getting married in February at the Bedford Village Inn and are most excited just to be married, being husband and wife and all that their future holds for them. The wedding is really the celebration of that, they said. We asked if they had any advice for newly engaged couples looking to do engagement sessions...."Yes, for the ladies - if your wearing heels bring flats or flip flops to walk in between shots. Also, shoot in places that are meaningful to you as a couple. Even if guests may not "get it" those are your memories together so it's ok". Such good advice! I still have to remember that I can't wear heels all of the time in this city and need the reminder! :) We are so thrilled we were able to recreate such a special day for you guys and had so much fun in the process! We hope you enjoy this little sneak peek!!!!
