Sophia and Michael's beautiful wedding at the Lakeview Pavilion

I don't think we have worked with a more laid back and calm couple than Sophia and Michael.  From the minute we showed up to Michael, at his family home for getting ready shots, the vibe was so serene.  Even when they thought there may have been a scheduling error, his response was almost shockingly nonchalant.  And he was right, because it turned out to be an absolutely perfect day, including the weather which had forecasts of rain that never showed.

Sophia was concentrating on not crying, promising her makeup artist she wouldn't wash off all of her hard work, with her tears of joy.   She looked stunning andagain, had this calm demeanor that was infectious.  I don't know that we have ever had a more relaxed wedding day!

Watching these two getting ready to see each other in the church was so emotional and touching, they are obvious soul mates and we were blessed to document this amazing start to their new lives together!  Here is the day of slideshow we showed at the incredible Lakeview Pavilion during their reception, thank you to all of the amazing staff and other vendors we worked with on the day!

Fatima and Dylan's beautiful day at the Somerville Armory

We had the wonderful opportunity to spend a day shooting with Fatima and Dylan while they celebrated their marriage with friends and family at the Somerville Armory.  Fatima looked absolutely stunning in her Stephen Yearik dress and Dylan wasn't too shabby himself.

It was a spectacular day of beautiful people, incredible food, great speeches and energetic dancing.  Here is a little sneak peek video of the day along with a few of our favorite images so far!  Hope you enjoy!

Leigh and Mike's Mexico Destination Wedding

Destination weddings are amazing and it's such an honor every time we have the opportunity to travel with a couple to document their wedding.   We are not only able to spend the day but get truly immersed into the environment with their family and friends.  We always feel like we are a part of the experience with our couples.

Traveling to Mexico with Leigh and Mike was exactly that, an amazing experience to say the least.  They have a wonderful family and incredible friends that truly made Melissa and I feel like we were at home with everyone.

Here are a few sneak peeks from their big day along with the same day edit slideshow we produced for them on the Wedding day!

Hope you enjoy!

Here is the same day Wedding slideshow!

Seattle Wedding with Nicole and Michael

I love destination wedding's.  It's even better when you get to share the day with friends.  This weekend we got to spend the day shooting Nicole and Michael's Seattle wedding.  One of the best parts was missing a few days of Boston weather!!  But really,  we had an amazing time and felt so welcome into the family.  This is the slideshow we made during the wedding and got to show at the reception.  Usually our clients are aware it's coming, but yesterday this was our surprise and gift to them and a very special event for Melissa and myself.  I hope you enjoy.

Julie and Bhrunil's Providence Wedding

Wedding photography is an amazing career for so many reasons, but I have to say that number one is the couples!  We get to share fantastic days with so many of our couples and Julie and Bhrunil's was no exception.  We have had so much fun getting to know them and being able to feel a part of their lives.

Our adventure started nearly a year ago with their engagement photography session which was published several times and generated awards for our studio.  So we had a lot to live up to for the wedding day.

This has been an incredible year for our studio. Being our first season in Boston we had no idea how busy the fall would be shooting almost daily, its taken a little longer to get this post out.  I can't wait to do the complete preview, but for now here is a sneak peek of Julie and Bhrunil's Indian-Jewish fusion wedding!  Many more to come...

The North End of Boston

I recently had the fantastic opportunity to move to Boston.  More importantly the North End.  For those of you that aren't familiar the North End is one of the oldest neighborhoods in Boston.  Extremely historic and home to places like the Old North Church, Paul Revers's house and Coop's Hill burial ground.  All places on the Freedom Trail. Some of which date back to pre revolutionary war times.  With Names we've all heard and studied.

Beyond all that, The North End was settled by the earliest Italian immigrants to Boston.  So when the tourists walk down Hanover St today, which splits the entire neighborhood, they hear the sounds and smell the sents of Italy.  It's like you've be transported to some small Italian village outside Rome.  Amazingly, you can walk around and see men drinking espresso and smoking a cigar, knowing it's what they've  done for years.

For a photographer The North End is a menagerie of unbelievable characters, sites and images just waiting to be captured! Here are just a few to start.  I can't wait to document whats out there.
